Paprika Beef

Yields:3 to 4 Servings
  • Pound meat to about half inch thick
  • Cut into finger size strips.
  • Heat butter in heavy pan until frothing stops. add meat and brown quickly on both sides on high heat.
  • Add the red pepper turn occasionally
  • After 5 or 6 minutes season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  • Sauté for 2 mins then .
  • Pour on mixture of milk blended with the flour and tomato
  • Bring to boil and check seasoning and serve
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 and half lbs thin cut steak
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup or 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • half cup full fat milk or cream or sour cream
  • salt and pepper
